We are looking for new nominations for 2024. If you’d like to nominate one of Glengarry’s many talented musicians, hardworking teachers or promoters, please send in your nomination by December 31st, 2023. Fiddlers, you are all invited to the 8th Annual Celtic Fiddle Mass! Join us at St. Anthony’s Parish in Apple Hill on the 12th of November at 10:30am. Below is the formal invitation with all of the details as well as the full set list.
Ruthanna was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012. She was a very regular attendee at our Ceilidhs and was always ready to play the piano. She will be missed by everyone in the music community.
On June 23rd, 1964 the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highland Dancing Association was born with 30 families and 35 dancers. Currently there are over 80 members that celebrated their 50th anniversary a few years ago. This Association remains a non-profit that carries on the Scottish heritage of their ancestors.
